QuoteRoster terms

Terms for using QuoteRoster.

Last updated August 12, 2026

1. Public site

The public site does not create an account, take payment, or reserve a contractor. Invited accounts use a separate authenticated workspace. Subscription terms and the exact plan limits appear before purchase.

2. Public-record information

The public site shows grouped facts derived from California contractor licensing records and Washington L&I contractor-registration and liability-policy records. Public records can change after retrieval. Check the current government record before relying on a licence, registration, bond, workers’ compensation, or liability-policy detail. Washington is a research preview and does not provide paid customer operations.

3. Permitted use

Use QuoteRoster for lawful business research. Do not use it to harass people, evade do-not-call requirements, make an eligibility or underwriting decision without independent review, reidentify a suppressed group, or claim that a contractor requested a quote.

4. Monthly subscriptions, add-ons, cancellation, and refunds

Checkout states the monthly price, contact reveal allowance, Search limits, and renewal terms before purchase. Search excludes private matches and contractors inside an exclusivity window. Producer and Agency include the stated Search allowance. A contact reveal provides 7 days of account-level contractor exclusivity. Producer includes one and Agency includes three 7-day extensions per billing period. During the final 48 hours, an account may use an available included extension. After that included allowance is used, it may purchase one $9 extension for a different eligible revealed contractor. A revealed contractor can be extended only once. Changes detected during either window remain with the same account and are not offered to another customer during that window.

A monthly plan renews at the displayed price until cancelled. Account owners can cancel online from billing settings. Cancellation stops the next renewal. Access continues through the period already paid for, and cancellation does not by itself refund the current period. The contact page remains available for billing help.

If a renewal payment fails, paid features remain available only through the period already paid for. They pause when that period ends and resume after a successful payment. Billing settings remain available while access is paused.

You may request a refund for the current paid period only if no paid QuoteRoster service has been used during that period. Running a Search, viewing a returned paid record, opening a private match, revealing a contact, exporting data, or using another paid feature counts as use. Once any paid service has been used, the current period is non-refundable. An included extension is used immediately, and a paid extension is applied immediately after successful payment. Neither is refundable once applied. QuoteRoster does not provide partial-month or prorated refunds, except where applicable law requires one.

QuoteRoster will send required notices before material price or renewal changes.

5. Accuracy and availability

A signal is a research prompt tied to a source record, not a guarantee of intent, coverage need, contactability, placement, quote, or sale. Record availability can change as sources update or checks identify a problem.

6. Ownership and affiliation

QuoteRoster owns its interface, organization, and derived presentation. Public records remain subject to applicable terms and law. QuoteRoster is not affiliated with or endorsed by any state agency.

7. Contact

Questions about these terms can be sent through the contact page.
